BUILDING STAGE - 'Life on a Leaf' Project A collaboration with Finnish Artist Jan-Erik Andersson Exhibition May 2007 Jan-Erik Andersson is a Finnish artist building a house, shaped like a leaf. He is interested in the way stories, written by himself, can influence the shape, the ornaments and the interior of the house. The goal is to create a total art work, which would inspire people to build. Life on a Leaf, is part of Andersson's studies for a doctorate degree in visual arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Helsinki. The project involves collaboration with other artists and artisans, who will make details to the house, based on the stories written by Andersson. I am one of these invited artists.
