BUILDING STAGE - SUSTRANS, 'Art and the Travelling Landscape', Lough Neagh, Northern Ireland Completion 2007
The artwork is inspired by the whole process of line fishing, stories and the fascinating facts of the life of eels. This and a number of other sculptures along the cycle route will raise awareness of a traditional industry which has been an important place in the culture and current life of Lough Neagh.

Stainless steel abstracts a form that suggests the movement of eels over land and in the sea. This form is repeated to create a similar rhythm to the line of hooks. It also has a ripple form which compliments a location close to the edge of water. |
