THE LIVING IMAGE Dana Centre, Science Museum, London May 2004 'The Living Image is a unique collaboration between land artist Trudi Entwistle, Theatre designer Roma Patel and installation artist Graham Nicholls, as a part of a series of lift commissions exploring the poetics of Londons urban landscape.' The Living image explores an artistic interpretation of London through the use of virtual reality. Individuals enter a multi-sensory interactive space wearing stereoscopic glasses, allowing them to see and direct the 3-D environments on a large screen. A virtual night time interpretation of London allows the visitor to explore the darker sides of the city, the 'in-between' places that tend to be overlooked in everyday life. - www.thelivingimage.org
